We are The Electricfiers!
The Electricfiers is a loud, hard-rockin' family band from Novato, with Josie (age 12) on drums, Jonathan (age 15) on guitar, and their dad Nathan (old) on bass. Our original music reflects on the golden age of hard rock, the 70s and 80s, with everything from futuristic synthesizers and sound effects, to blaring amplifiers in our heavy blues rock songs. We deliver raw power and high excitement with every performance, aiming to pull the younger generation into music and push new musical boundaries for youth.
The Electricfiers have been interviewed by Martha Quinn of 103.7 80's+ iHeartRadio and by MarinIJ. The Electricfiers hope to inspire others to have music in their lives. They love to rock hard, performing covers from Led Zeppelin, SRV, ZZ Top, and Mountain, to name a few.
The Electricfiers have performed at San Francisco Ferry Fest Music Festival, San Rafael Porchfest, Hopmonk Novato, The Cow Palace Carnvl, Marin and Alameda County Fairs, Blazers, RMU Truckee, Temecula Rockfest 2022, Novato 4th of July Parade, Bastards Canteen, The Boomerang Lounge and various school events.

JONATHAN "Clutch"
guitar, mandolin, lead and back-up vocals, singer-songwriter
Jonathan is in 9th grade. He plays in the high school jazz band. His passion is playing guitar and composing songs with Nathan. His favorite guitarists are Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Alex Lifeson. Jonathan is nicknamed "Clutch" because he thrives and shines when asked to perform at a moment's notice, a "clutch" situation! When Jonathan is not playing his guitar, you can find him improvising jazz chords on the piano or running around the house playing Led Zepplin songs on the mandolin. He is currently teaching himself how to play the harmonica.
JOSIE "Switch"
percussion, lead and back-up vocals, singer-songwriter
Josie is in 5th grade! She asked Dad to teach her drums so she can jam with Dad and Jonathan. She was instantly hooked! Her favorite drummer is Neil Peart. Her nickname is "Switch" because when she is performing, she turns on the "switch." She beats the heck out of those drums and takes her drumming to the next level! When she is not drumming, Josie is baking, reading, dancing, crafting and swimming in Tomales Bay, no matter how cold it is!
NATHAN "DAD"
bass, keyboard, guitar, back-up vocals, singer-songwriter
Nathan has been playing piano since he was a mere tot and attended high school at McAteer San Francisco School of the Arts. In college, Nathan played bass for Redrum and was in the Isla Vista music scene in the 90's. Nathan's favorite bassist is Geddy Lee. Nathan got to meet Geddy at a book signing and was happy that Josie and Jonathan got to meet Geddy.
